Technical
The Coyote open cut consist of two main pits of approximately 4,000,000
BCM in total, to a depth of 110 meters.
There are also two satellite pits 17km north of the highway to
a depth of 60 metres and approximately 2,500,000 BCM in total to
move. The current mining schedule will be completed in June 2008.
Employment
CDE CAPITAL is currently employing 46 personal for the
Coyote project, 70% are indigenous. CDE Capital has formed a strong
relationship with the Tjurabalan people, which has resulted in having
8 of their people employed and working on their land.
The local Tjurabaln employees have made the transition from the
community to a mining environment with little difficulty; thanks
to company founder Sid Rusca working very closely with them in the
transitional phase of their site activity.
Equipment
The main production equipment being used is two EX1200
Hitachi excavators and 6 Cat 777D dump trucks. The support equipment
consists of a Cat D9R dozer, Mack body water cart, 470 Komatsu loader
feeding the crusher and a Cat 14H grader.
